Brain
Like a computer system for the body, the brain controls all the body’s function. It relays sensory and motor messages, allowing the body to move and experience sensations. Tumours can originate in the brain or spread there from other parts of the body. These tumours are both cancerous and benign and can cause painful symptoms and changes in behaviour. A craniotomy is the most common type of operation for a brain tumour.
